Erm... I just went through my gallery and I figure I only have one piece that can maybe be used as a portfolio piece! Possibly this one
Maybe? Do you think? I hope so, it's a start! Enough with the whining though. I'll be gone for the next 2 weeks but I haven't been too active on here lately anyway so I guess it doesn't matter
I have to tell my parents I'm not moving to Missouri near them... and I'm really nervous about it, my mom won't take it well and my stomach has been in knots for awhile. I have no idea how to tell her, how do you guys tell people unpleasant news? I hate disappointing people but I seem to make a habit of it lately.
Peppermint has been really sick lately, we got her from rescued paws at Petco, she was fixed and had shots so we thought it was a bargain but when we first got her we discovered she had fleas, then worms, then an upper respiratory infection and as soon as we got rid of that she gets an eye infection. Now the vet says she might have Cat herpes
(born with it, she's not a kitty hussy ) because it's supposedly a symptom when they get an eye infection after a respiratory one. I like the vet she's really nice, although she keeps saying "anti-bee-odd-icks" instead of antibiotics and I keep having to keep myself from giggling. (Maybe that's the correct way to pronounce it but I've never heard it that way before) I little Peppermint but she's costing me a fortune! ( I miss Kitty though! 
She was so sweet!) I guess if those are my biggest problems my life doesn't suck too much/at all really, I've just been in a slump the last few years. This honestly isn't a pity me journal it really feels great to get this out of my head and now I feel a bit better! I saw some awful pictures of war victims a few months ago and I honestly haven't felt sorry for myself since I've seen them. I think when my life is that awful I'll let myself whine all the time.

The rules are if you get a feature you have to feature 20 people but from experience I know it takes a while to fill the feature up so I'll only ask you to keep it up for a reasonable amount of time and if it doesn't get filled you can take it down

Personally, I think these ones would be nice in a portfolio too:
Dream
Brother and Sister Halloween
Mermaid and pet
Pearl watering her garden (because it's adorable!)
That being said though, I don't know what is supposed to go in a portfolio really
Some fancy coral at the sides and bottom might help frame it a bit better? I don't think it really needs anything anyway
You have lots of adorable things that would look good in a portfolio! That is an excellent start. Are you planning on sending in something?
Aw man, and I'm sorry that you have to go through that. It's always really hard to break it to someone, and it's something I'm not really good at. BUT I think the best way is to just to with courage, but gently.
Aaaaaaw, and I'm so sorry that Peppermint's sick! Though the feline herpes sounds terrible! I don't think its curable, right? Poor girl, and poor you too! I'm glad the vet's nice, but going through that kind of stuff is so stressful! I hope things have eased up a little bit since you wrote this.

I was going to put one together but it looks like I'm going to be given a job in photoshop for the same company that Tyson works for because his boss likes him so much. Now I have to learn photoshop
It ended up being completely something I shouldn't have worried about
Peppermint's eyes had gotten better before I left and now she's squinting in her right eye again!
Well I guess I meant that I should learn to appreciate what I have and not sweat the small stuff like I always do, it's just a nicer way to live I think when your mind isn't cluttered with all that.

i personally love ALL of your art, so maybe i wouldn't be the best person to recommend art for your portfolio
but i hope you get some really great stuff for it!
She was only 6 months when we got her so HOPEFULLY she's hasn't had any kitty hussy experience... although she lived with a ton of other cats
Just be calm and collected delivering it. I got all worked up about having to tell my parents some moderately serious stuff, but it turned out that they didn't freak like I expected them too. They actually turned out to be very understanding and supportive instead of the dire reactions I expected.
Whatever it is though, just don't let it eat at you! That can only make things worse.
