The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

SHOW THEM NO MERCY JESSEL. Go straight to the help desk and report your findings! Stealing your art is unforgivable, and if they're doing it to other artists, then it's just as bad! And your not a coward-calling someone out is always a scary thing. Good luck to you my friend!

It wasn't my art because (sadly) I wouldn't have given a second thought about reporting it. I figured it would be obvious this person wasn't the creator of the piece and someone else would report her but then I noticed it started getting favs, so I realized that it was causing harm so I reported it. I know it's not theirs because my Mother-in-law was interested in purchasing that art piece a few months ago and I know it wasn't made by a 16 year old girl. It's this [link] by the way.

That makes me sad :[ Though I'm glad you did report the girl though. But I'm definately glad that you reported it JessEl-excellent job! And it's such a nice looking art piece too-you'd think someone else would notice it sooner. Not saying that sixteen-year-olds are incapable of art, but jeez. D:

I think that maybe you should tell them first that what they're doing is wrong... obviously, they haven't done it by mistake, but maybe if you call them out on it, they'll take down the artwork on their own. If not, then you should proceed to report that person. I've done it before, and I dislike confronting other people like that too, but it's still necessary. I hope that helps.

Besides that, I've finally figured out what I would like a sketch of.
