Honestly I'm rarely proud of myself but I think this is one I can be proud of, I know it's not great but it's very much me and I have a hard time transferring that to paper.

The stylized branches remind me of the scenery in Disney's Sleeping Beauty. (Which is a good thing. Those are some of the most gorgeous trees I've ever seen.)

I haven't seen that movie in forever but I was thinking about those trees when I was drawing them :) Also the trees from Adventure Time but I wanted to make it in a way that sort of honored the inspiration but was still my own design... if that makes sense :)

... unless you do have a book and I just don't own it... which I will if I find out you do! ;P

Truth is I've been lazy but I've been forcing myself to work on stuff, it's probably backwards but first I'm trying to find a style that I don't hate after a week. I think I'm getting close to it!

I think I know what you mean. I also try to find a style that will suit me best, but I easly get bored and so I always try to find something new. Gotta make my mind I guess ;p
